I’m going to give you 3 weight loss tips today.

The most important thing when doing a weight loss program is your nutrition. So the first thing you will want to do is calculate how much you are eating now, and then improve the quality of the food you are eating. If you’re still not losing weight, then start to decrease your calories by 10-20 percent per day. That is the simplest nutrition tip you will ever get.

The second weight loss tip is to include strength training exercise. That may sound odd for some of you who do not associate strength training with weight loss, but I guarantee you that it will help you lose bodyfat.

Finally, the third weightloss tip is to use interval training instead of regular cardio training. Slow cardio training is really a waste of time because it takes up so much time, but doesn’t give you a lot of results. What does nutrition have to do with mental health? You might be surprised to find out the truth behind what happens when a person has a nutritional deficiency.

Nutritional deficiencies can cause all sorts of psychiatric symptoms including apathy, low energy, irritability, insomnia, low energy, agitation, fatigue, concentration problems, aches and pains, weight changes, including weight loss or weight gain. Sound a lot like the symptoms of depression? The truth is the average American diet of fast food is low in vital nutrition that you need for your body to function correctly.

This isn’t to say that all depression is caused by bad nutrition but it’s certainly a contributing factor in many cases and poor nutrition will always make depression worse. Antidepressant drugs also do not correct nutritional problems. So if your depressed because of nutritional problems an antidepressant will only partially cover up the problem and you body still won’t function correctly.

Fast Weight Loss

I am a 20 year old college student, and on October 24th, 2007 I decided to turn my life around. I was obese, depressed, and was lacking in self confidence. Now, as of December 19th, 2007 I am over 40 pounds lighter; having dropped 6 pant sizes, and two shirt sizes- I will do whatever it takes to not get back to where i was. How did I do it you might ask? – Hardwork, determination, and moral support. Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Exercise, nutrition & weight loss – 3 different results

Exercise, nutrition and weight loss are three separate and distinct ideas that our culture has collapsed into one idea when we think about losing weight. Therein lies the problem.
Exercise for weight loss: If you are overeating, it’s almost impossible to exercise enough to counteract the effects. It takes a 200 pound person 30 minutes, walking 2 miles per hour, to burn off 1 ounce of tortilla chips or 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing. If the main reason for exercising is to lose weight by burning calories, can you ever really win that game?

Nutrition for weight loss: Choosing foods based on their content doesn’t produce long-term weight loss. If certain foods made you thin, you’d be thin today. Eating more nutritious foods will make your body run better, just as better gasoline makes your car run better. But that’s all they will do. Even steamed veggies will make you fat if eat them when you are not hungry. Giving your body more food than it needs, regardless of its content, is still overeating, and the reason for weight gain.

I, personally, tend to make wholesome food choices. I believe that this contributes to my health. I also am dedicated to vigorous daily exercise. I love it and I believe it contributes to making me fit. However, neither my food choices nor my exercise habits is the reason I have maintained my goal weight for more than five years. I have maintained my goal weight simply because I no longer overeat.
