Getting Fit Using a Great Fitness Routine

Saturday, May 14th, 2011

A good fitness level is something that every person can accomplish. Doing this takes a lot of hard work and requires you to be very patient but if you aren’t afraid of work or patience then you should have no issues with getting fit! More of the population becomes concerned about their health each year. Think about it: don’t you, from time to time, say “I really need to get healthy?” How often do you worry about not getting enough exercise? Health and fitness are important all over the glob. If getting fit is something that you are worried about use these hints to get you started. By the way, an effective way to add some extra size is with Bodylastics bands. I like the TO Bands in particular.

You should talk to a doctor before you begin doing any sort of regular working out. The opinion and guidance of a health care professional is very important if you want to make sure that you approach “getting fit” correctly. Your doctor will work with you to pick out the parts of your lifestyle that you need to work on the most. She (or he) will also help you develop a work out routine that is best for your current lifestyle as well as your health history. Don’t try to do it all yourself especially if this is your first time following a regular exercise routine. Getting your doctor’s opinion on your starting point will help you decide exactly where you want to go and the way in which you will get there. Become a swimmer! Health and Fitness experts all over the world say that swimming is almost a perfect exercise. Swimming provides a workout for your entire body. Swimming is the best low impact sport. Low impact refers to exercises and sports that strengthen your muscles without forcing your body through a great deal of stress. This is because the water helps to support the weight of your body so that your muscles and cardiovascular system get exercise but your weight is not a factor in the overall workout. The pure enjoyment one gets from going swimming is another benefit.

Get together with your friends and get fit. It doesn’t matter if your group has zero experience in exercise or physical fitness: you can keep each other going as you all work for better health. Working out and getting fit with friends can make getting fit a lot more fun than it would be if you tried to do it alone. It helps to have a group of people with you who will get on your case if you start to slack off. Having someone on hand to help you stay focused and on track is key. Following a fitness routine with your friends is a lot easier than only ever working out alone.

Fitness is about your entire life. There is more to fitness than going for a jog a few times a week. Fitness encompasses a nutritious diet and healthy lifestyle choices as well as regular workouts. You have lots of options when it comes to finding success at fitness. Remember: working the body is only one small part of getting fit! Lastly, be sure to look at our Bodylastics review.

The Need For Health And Safety Consultants For Construction Companies

Sunday, April 17th, 2011

Health and safety consultants play extremely important roles in a company or even a workplace. These individuals ensure the welfare of the staff members that include health and the safety. The health and wellness of the workers can directly affect the overall performance of the staff and their work productivity is directly affected too. Healthy employees can certainly help accomplish the tasks on time when compared to sickly ones.

That is why it is vital that the health of the workers are also taken into account by the company. A safe working atmosphere is likewise equally vital. Employees who believe that they are secure and safe in their workplaces will be stress free which implies they will work with no distractions.

Construction sites and construction jobs are deemed to be among the the most hazardous workplaces and jobs around. Different types of accidents and injuries can take place in a construction and it is extremely crucial that the construction company has health and safety consultants. The health and safety consultants take care of the welfare of the employees in a construction company plus they are also accountable in conducting risk control planning for the workplace.
The health of the construction staff can be directly at stake due to the dust and chemical particles they might inhale everyday at the construction site. Heavy materials and equipment are also everywhere the construction site and without the appropriate safety precautions ensured, accidents can often happen and it will be inevitable that deaths can also occur.

The health and safety consultants are a team of professionals that specialize in the research and planning on how to control risks in a workplace. With construction jobs, there are a number of anticipated accidents and with the help of these health and safety consultants, the chances of these accidents to happen will be reduced. Fire is among the most common accidents in a development site. Controlling fire hazards should be well planned out and also seminars and fire drills has to be conducted prior to construction job starts. The workers must also be trained with health and safety regulations based on the type of construction job and these things are the tasks of the health and safety consultants. They do not necessarily need to be there each time there are new workers but a standardization of these rules and regulations at your workplace is going to be developed by these health and safety consultants.

A Beginners Guide to Yoga Exercise Videos

Tuesday, March 1st, 2011

In this challenging economy, many of us are experiencing stress at a deeper and more profound level, but much of that unpleasant stress can be eliminated by simply incorporating Yoga exercise videos into your weekly workout routines. Added stress and tension can create all sorts of problems including increased fatigue, moody emotions, weight gain and even back pain. It just makes sense that if something can be done in about twenty minutes can reduce or eliminate those symptom you should consider doing it – and that something is Yoga.

In a nutshell, Yoga is a workout or exercise that people have been practicing for centuries that brings us together, that makes the entire body work in harmony, the mind, the body and the spirit – thus called a mind/body workout. It also provides mental clarity so making decisions comes easier and faster. Even though it is perfectly OK to do Yoga without any equipment, many people prefer to use a Yoga sticky mat to make the postures easier to hold and provide comfort when in a seated position.

Don’t worry if you are a beginner as the experience is quite welcoming, since Yoga instructors teach in a non-competitive manor, and to focus on your own personal workout for that particular day. Or, try a few different types of Yoga by getting a few workout videos and doing them at home, at your leisure.

There are a wide variety of different types of Yoga to choose from: Hatha is the gentlest type of Yoga while Vinyasa tends to be a bit more vigorous using many poses called Sun Salutations. If you are interested in learning good form and technique, you may consider Iyengar Yoga since it focusing on posture and body alignment. And lastly, if you want to focus on the breathing side of Yoga, I would recommend trying Kundalini Yoga which focuses much of the effects of breath, also called prana (meaning energy). These are just a few of many wonderful forms of Yoga, why not try two or three different formats then choose one or two that you feel the most comfortable with.

Allow Yoga to become a part of your lifestyle and you will find, within weeks, how wonderful you can look and feel – yes, the poses may be challenging at first, but before you know it, they will make sense and you will be able to take your Yoga practice to a whole new level. Yoga really can “re-energize” you and make you feel younger and stronger, why not pick up an exercise video or two and move one step closer towards the “you” you want to be.

Muscle Building Nutrition Program – Part 2

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

http://www.LeeHayward.com

In part 1 of the Basic Bodybuilding Nutrition Program I covered proper nutrient intake of protein, carbohydrates, fat, and water. And the amounts of each that you should be consuming daily based on your individual needs and fitness goals. In part 2 I’m going to outline some practical ways that you can fit a healthy eating plan into your busy lifestyle.

The whole idea of eating 6 well-balanced meals per day is by no means a new concept. Most of you who are reading this already have a good idea of how you should be eating. But for the majority of people the main excuse is they don’t have the time to eat properly.

But this is just not the case. Eating a “junk-food” diet probably takes just as much or more time then it does to eat a healthy diet. At lunch time getting in your car and heading on over to the fast food joint, waiting in line at the drive through, and then heading back to work takes a lot more time then if you had your food prepared in advance and ready to eat.

The key to successfully following a healthy bodybuilding nutrition program is planning ahead. When you cook your food always prepare for several meals. It doesn’t take any more time to cook larger quantities of food then it does to cook smaller amounts of food for just one meal. Purposely plan to have left overs that you can re-heat in the microwave, this saves time and makes it easier to have quick nutritious meals on hand. I’ll often grill several steaks at a time, cook several chicken breasts at a time, bake several potatoes at a time, cook up a large pot of rice, etc.

A Well Stocked Kitchen

In order to prepare and eat healthy nutritious meals you need to have the necessary kitchen supplies. Get yourself a good set of pots, non-stick frying pans, measuring cups and spoons, food scale, a good set of kitchen knives, blender, kitchen grill (such as the George Foreman grill), electric kettle, good spatulas and other cooking utensils like tongs, ladel spoons, etc. These are the basic tools that you’ll need to prepare your meals.

For packing and storing your food you will also need to get some plastic food storage containers. Get a half dozen smaller sized containers for packing individual meals. And also get a few bigger containers that you can use for storing left overs in the refrigerator. Make sure to get good containers with tight fitting lids so they will not pop open easily.

Get a couple shaker bottles for mixing up protein drinks and also get an insulated lunch bag or small hand held cooler for taking your food with you to work. You will be able to get all of these kitchen supplies at places like Wal-Mart for a fair price.

DIET vs EXERCISE Episode 1: Fat Loss Diet versus Best Cardio Workout to Burn Belly Fat

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT:

http://www.turbulencetraining.com

First instalment of diet vs. exercise where Craig Ballantyne and Brad Pilon show you how ineffective cardio is and just how dramatic your calorie intake can be without you knowing it.

The simple truth is; you can’t out-train a bad diet.

Today, in this contest, Craig Ballantyne is going to run on the treadmill on an incline of .5 and a speed of 10.5 mph for 3 minutes, while Brad Pilon eats pizza and drinks soda pop.

Brad is going to try to consume as many calories as he can in those 3 minutes, while Craig is going to see how many calories he can burn off in that same amount of time.

In 3 minutes, Brad consumed approximately 1000 total calories, while Craig burned only 43 calories.

Cardio loses against diet.

This just goes to show you, in diet vs. exercise, you can never out train a bad diet. It doesn’t matter how good your program is, if this is your nutrition, you’re not going to lose fat.

Worst Weight Loss Mistake 2 – Where’s Your Angelina Jolie?

Friday, March 12th, 2010

http://www.erinhuggins.com Moving forward with the body/mind connection – You have to use your brain to get the body you want! After you have set your goal, you must exercise your mind. You must begin to visualize the body you want and deserve. Make a game of it. Every night as you are falling asleep imagine that you are an architect and you are building the body you want piece by piece. You have to nourish the inner aspect. You have to be a warrior, a diva, a super star! Do you think Angelina Jolie walks around with a negative attitude about herself? Do you think she says “I suck” to herself? NO! You can’t be a successful as Angelina Jolie and have that kind of self defeating inner dialog.

Create inner dialog that enables you to bring the body you want into existence. Most people completely neglect the mental aspect of a weight loss or makeover and go straight for the crazy cardio classes. Use the power of your mind to reinvent yourself into the person you want and deserve to be! You can create a magical life. You just have to do it in a mindful, logical way. Don’t burn yourself out by getting all cracked out on cardio for two weeks while not spending a second on mental and inner strength. Because if you don’t focus on mental and inner strength you will not be able to get past how terrible your body is going to feel after two weeks of crazy cracked out cardio (which by the way isn’t even the best fat loss exercise!)

http://www.operationshapeshift.com If you need help in the inner strength depart there are some great mental exercises that will help you Ignite your inner Angelina Jolie! Visualization and guided meditation are techniques Tiger Woods uses before every golf game. Do you think they are working?

Hi, my name is Darin & I am a World Class Prof. Drug-Free for Life 44 year old Bodybuilder, business owner, husband & Father. In the past, I have struggled to balance my life.

Most of my clients are hard working business owners, parents, & stay at home house moms who want less stress, more time, energy, & fulfillment.

My Promise to you is that I will show you how to not only get an amazing physique, but I will give you a precise, personal (exactly for you) total plan of attack that will allow you to do it in a way that feels good. If you are looking for a deeper approach to health, strength, & vitality; then you need this proven system.

My 300 page e-book The “FATLOSS LIFESTYLE 12 Week Body Transformation System will give you the tools to take your body & your life to the next level. Whether you are a competitive bodybuilder who wants to get some great contest prep tips and or smooth out your life in between contests, or you are the gym rat who wants to take your physique to the next level, or a sedentary 40 year old that needs to get active.

BODYBUILDING NUTRITION

To gain muscle and lose fat you must;

• Take in slightly less calories than you are burning

• Consume higher quality calories. Eat more natural unprocessed foods that don’t come wrapped in a box. If it rots, it’s good for you: Lean (protein with low amount of fat, aka chicken & turkey breasts, lean beef, eggs), Green (vegetable, green beans, salads, apples), & Marine (fish).

• Small meals often. You must eventually work up to 5-6 small meals per day; about every 3-4 hours

• Macronutrient Profile- Every meal you eat should contain protein and carbs combined together. How much? A starting point would be;

1. Most women and under 130 lb. men 15-20 grams of protein in each meal
2. 130 lb. — 165 lb. men 20-30 grams of protein in each meal
3. 170 lb. and up 30-45 grams of protein in each meal

One of the biggest “nutrition Secrets” in the Bodybuilding world is a technique called carb cycling. In a nut shell you have two different types of carbs.

Starchy carbs—Sources are brown & wild rice, oatmeal, whole grain pasta, sweet potatoes / yams

Non-starchy carbs—Sources are veggies, grean beans, salads, apples, grape-fruit

Cycle your calories by eating only non starchy carbs with your protein on Interval Cardio days and throw in your starchy carbs only on days you train intensely with weights. This is absolutely t he secret for you to keep your metabolism revved up while you gain muscle and lose fat.

You can work-out till your blue in the face but if you do not incorporate Interval Cardio (done first thing in the morning in a fasted state), intense functional multi-joint, compound exercises, small healthy meals often with protein and carbs combined together, positive mindset, goal setting & social support (you will turn into who you hang around) you will not change your body much. Physique development is about losing fat
(to show the shape of the muscle) as much if not more than building muscle. It is definitely a combination of the two.

But if you do focus on “The Three Pillars of Health” you will radically change your waistline, your lifestyle, and your life. For more incredible before and after testimonials;
Real People, With Real Results in my private Chicago studio, go to

http://www.fatlosslifestyle.com

The Three Pillars of Health are;

I. The Thoughts That You Think
