			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p> As with any workout, since uphill training and it required a good warm up  . Make sure  you are in good physical condition to tackle hills. Otherwise, work up  to it slowly. Even walking up hill will be intense if you are untrained.</p>
<p> You can do running, jogging or walking hills are a great way to do interval training  . Try going up the hill at your hard pace and then  doing a slower recovery pace back down the hill. Repeat for more rounds  depending on your fitness level, and gradually increase this over time.</p>
<p> By switching the incline on your machine, you can do this on a treadmill too  . A good  starting point for doing intervals on a treadmill might be one-minute  high intensity incline, and 2-minutes low intensity with no incline.</p>
<p>This  is a great way to incorporate high intensity <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPc0ol5YmWE" target="_blank">interval training</a> in your  workout. Basically, hill running will more effectively increase your  metabolism and burn more calories than a longer, steady-paced, slower  jog. Bottom line&#8230; you will get more fat burning results in a shorter  period of time by comparison .</p>
<p>Running up hill uses more body  weight resistance to push against, making the leg muscles work much  harder . It requires a good knee lift, driving arms, and the calf muscles  have to work twice as hard or harder than running on a flat surface.  Like many boot camp routines, this will definitely improve both your  strength and endurance&#8230; and you will notice how easy it will seem when  returning to your flatter runs.</p>
<p>Pick a focal point at the top of the hill. Avoid looking down at your feet. Enjoy the hill, rather than fighting with it.</p>
<p>You  will improve your strength in your quadriceps, hamstrings, buttocks,  calves and back. The added benefit of building more muscle is what will  help speed up your metabolism.</p>

<p> The great thing is that these exercises can be done anywhere, anytime without having any crazy equipment  .</p>
<p>And it gets rid of any excuses for not training.</p>
<p>Here are 5 <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiNRfGX3c3g" target="_blank">bodyweight exercises</a> for women -</p>
<p>1) Reverse Crunch &#8211; knees bent, hands placed beside your hips flat on the floor, bring your knees towards your chin while exhaling. Your hips should come off the floor and slowly lower your feet to just above floor level. Do 15-20 reps.</p>
<p>2) Side (Plank) Bridge &#8211; lie on your side so that your body is rigid and straight. The only contact points on the floor are your forearm and the near side of your foot. Do 20-30 seconds.</p>
<p>3) Front Bridge &#8211; Lie face down so that your body is rigid and straight, the only contact points on the floor are both forearms and both sets of toes. Do 20-30 seconds.</p>
<p>4) Split Jump &#8211; Stand in a lunge position with one leg between half to a meter in front of the other, arms at your sides. Bend at the knees until your back leg almost touches the floor, then swing your arms forward and jump as high as you can. While in the air, switch leg positions so that you can land softly with the other leg in front. Repeat for 8 to 12 reps.</p>
<p>5) Push-ups; or if you are a beginner try the kneeling push-up (push up position but with your knees on the floor)</p>
<p><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiNRfGX3c3g" target="_blank">Bodyweight exercises</a> for women can be adjusted as the fitness level improves.</p>
<p>As your body fat decreases and strength improves, adjust the exercises to make it more challenging .</p>
<p>For example, you can change the kneeling push-up to the same push-up from your toes. Or if you want to make it more difficult, why not adjust the position of your hands to continuously advance your muscle strength.</p>
<p> Varying the intensity is a great alternative to making the workouts more challenging  .</p>
<p>Best yet, why not do 10 push-ups followed immediately by 10 split jumps. Then rest for 60 seconds, and repeat again.</p>
<p>The aim here is to increase the intensity by alternating between an upper body exercise and a lower body exercises for greater impact.</p>
<p>Therefore, the higher the intensity, the better the metabolic impact you will have on your body .</p>

<p>To gain muscle and lose fat you must;</p>
<p>• Take in slightly less calories than you are burning</p>
<p>• Consume higher quality calories.  Eat more natural unprocessed foods that don&#8217;t come wrapped in a box.  If it rots, it&#8217;s good for you:  Lean (protein with low amount of fat, aka chicken &amp; turkey breasts, lean beef, eggs), Green (vegetable, green beans, salads, apples), &amp; Marine (fish).</p>
<p>• Small meals often.  You must eventually work up to 5-6 small meals per day; about every 3-4 hours</p>
<p>• Macronutrient Profile-  Every meal you eat should contain protein and carbs combined together.  How much?  A starting point would be;  </p>
<p>1. Most women and under 130 lb. men  15-20 grams of protein in each meal<br />
2. 130 lb. &#8212; 165 lb. men                          20-30 grams of protein in each meal<br />
3. 170 lb. and up                                     30-45 grams of protein in each meal</p>
<p>      One of the biggest &#8220;nutrition Secrets&#8221;  in the Bodybuilding  world is a technique called carb cycling.  In a  nut shell you have two different types of carbs.</p>
<p>Starchy carbs—Sources are brown &amp; wild rice, oatmeal, whole grain pasta, sweet potatoes / yams</p>
<p>Non-starchy carbs—Sources are veggies, grean beans, salads, apples, grape-fruit</p>
<p>Cycle your calories by eating only non starchy carbs with your protein on Interval Cardio days and throw in your starchy carbs only on days you train intensely with weights.  This is absolutely t he secret for you to keep your metabolism revved up while you gain muscle and lose fat.</p>
<p>You can work-out till your blue in the face but if you do not incorporate Interval Cardio (done first thing in the morning in a fasted state), intense functional multi-joint, compound exercises, small healthy meals often with protein and carbs combined together, positive mindset, goal setting &amp; social support (you will turn into who you hang around) you will not change your body much.  Physique development is about losing fat<br />
(to show the shape of the muscle) as much if not more than building muscle.  It is definitely a combination of the two.</p>

Bodybuilding doesn&#8217;t have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money.
