    Raw veggies–WHERE is the “sugar” in that ???? Didn’t think so–So I reach for a bagel, or bread, since I don’t eat MEAT.. Carbs and Protein seem to be the SAME foundation, for SOLID FOOD…..     @quitejaded when your insulin levels are up, your body sends signals that you should be storing fat, when your blood sugars are at a low (but healthy) level, your body releases stored fat into the blood stream to burn. Eating high carbohydrate foods will elevate your blood sugars and they are very high in carlories.

    @birtimgish Number 1 you don’t have to be gorilla big to be strong and to have well developed muscles, and Number 2 a calorie is not a calorie, and thats what hes saying here. I’ll keep it simple, 100 calories of salad=/=100 calories of french fries from mcdonalds. not that im saying you eat stuff like that, but for the sake of argument thats what im referencing. The way your body processes the salad and responds to it is going to be outlandishly different to what the french fries do to you.

    I also try to tell people this all the time. Cardio is great, but you can’t strictly develop one aspect of your physical fitness and well being. It all comes together: cardio, strength, flexibility, diet. its all a part of being healthy and feeling good!

    1170 is really low!

    you should probably skip out on the special k bar (full of additives and sugar) and the fruit snack (more sugar). and add in a few more meals of chicken breasts, or tuna! get some more good proteins in ur body and you’ll be more satisfied

    eat vegies and white meat like turkey,fish and tuna..Lower our calories for ex. i ate 3000cal,the next time ill just eat 1500cal.. It wont shut down ur metabolism Becoz its the right amount of calories that our body needed.. Im not used in going to d gym coz i had a very busy schedule.. I had 2 jobs and instead of going to the gym ill just take a rest..walking everyday thats my basic exercise but if u consume too much calories walking is not good enough…
