    When you are having …
When you are having a sugar craving, celery with some natural peanut butter calms the rumbles.

When I do have sugar we get the block of dark chocolate, melt it and dip in strawberries. Tastes great without the massive sugar spike.

I replaced sodas with unsweetened brewed ice tea. just not after 6pm if you want to sleep.

If we are out for a family dinner the rule is 1 dessert shared.

Plenty of sun. If I do relapse I will counter a sugar binge with some celery to counter the absorption.

Does anyone have a food enabler in their life?..Its hard when your loved ones eat junk infront of you and those aromas in the air are so tempting..they have their fattening foods all over the house..then you have your healthy food and it just sucks!…

that’s not true, my weekly diet is made of broccolli, spinach,, lettuce , tomato, chicken breast, beef, eggs, raw yogourt , cheese, bananas, lemons, avocado, kiwi, coconut oil and flax seeds. I average less than 10$ per day on average for food for myself . Once I started to go natural I forgot how cheaper it was

    I agree. I once …
I agree. I once quit all candy and chocolate for six days a week (which was very hard to do because a have quite the sweet tooth) but on sundays I would go to a chocolatier that sells hand made choc.and pralinés in a huge variety of flavors with bits of nuts and fruits or liqueur or even coffee beans, yum! and they are tiny and you can buy them individually, kind of expensive. But that helped me view it as a luxury not as something commonplace like eating a snickers watching tv.

    Ipay attention to …
Ipay attention to what she says, I’ve incorporated many of her tips in my diet, she´s very smart and worthy of respect, but would it be too terribly rude to agree with brado on the fact she should wear more cleavage? Natalie, you are one sexy lady, not only your looks make you sexy but your intelligence, healthiness and good nature, you have a fantastic vibe. you are beautiful in a sort of wholesome way. So please do show more cleavage?

Another problem is: Fake food which is high in white sugar is also cheap while real food is expensive. Thats why the magority of Americans go after cheaper food to feed their families.

    @Ithink998 …You …
@Ithink998 …You may have to read a couple of books cuz it’s not easy. But another thing I learned about addiction is that much of it is in your mind. I used to smoke and one of the things I learned was to keep telling yourself that you don’t need it & don’t like it. Refined sugar is poison! That last one isn’t easy but if you think about it, isn’t it all really too sweet? I think so now. Try finding good, healthy substitutes for things you used to eat. It can be done cuz others have succeeded!

  14. Ithink998 Says:

    @ crystalsky84, …
@ crystalsky84, will have have to read the book I’m pretty addicted to sugar then realised I was because my foster parents would give us a chocolate everyday for school to eat, I’m talking 11 years of having chocolate everyday! so no wonder I’m addicted! but I’m try to come off it.
Also having too much sugar robs your body of anti oxidents and ages you quickly.

I cut surgar out of my diet for two years and, what i did when i had a surgar craving was i drank water.I found it helped the craving go away,i never liked cake so that was’nt a big issue but other stuff like chocalate was.I also found that drinking lots of water decreases your appitie and helps u eat less, but thats me maybe other’s are different.

Thank you, I just found out that I had this sugar addiction… It used to be so frustrating because I would just feel so bad that I would think I was doing something unhealthy for myself and I needed to eat. But it makes so much sense what you said… This is the 4th video I watch today about this subject and I really wanna thank you. I quit smoking, drinking alcohol and coffee, cold turkey, So I can do this too. Thanks

  19. BrotherMosheh Says:

    She gives really …
She gives really good advice. Its crazy to hear all these facts and realize that the average diet in USA is so very unhealthy. The health care reform needs to take place in the kitchens of the people!

  20. gledalac1979 Says:

    do strength …
do strength training which produces nitric oxide and relaxes your blood vessels. Never do running or cardio because this is related to stress hormones and your body takes your sex hormones and muscles into stress hormones for you to run.

I’ll check that one out too! Have you read any Michael Pollan books? I think you may like him. He’s a nutrition journalist; he’s brilliant. :)

  23. crystalsky84 Says:

    You’re very welcome …
You’re very welcome! I’m also reading “Sugar Blues” by William Dufty. It’s kinda like a history lesson but shows the greed of the sugar industry. He equates them to drug pushers. I can relate cuz it’s hard to quit sugar!

  24. AzureSkyzz Says:

    Thank you for those …
    Thank you for those suggestions!

  25. cobrachoppergirl Says:

    Fake sugars …
Fake sugars actually contain something like 50% real sugar. That’s why they are fake – fake as in a lie, they actually still contain sugar or chemically altered or equivalent sugar. Not to mention most of them are suspected of causing cancer.
