How do I get past a certain weight?
December 1st, 2009 at 14:59I’m looking for a weight loss, nutrition or trainer to answer this. Also, despite the name on this account, I am in fact a woman. I’ve lost nearly 60 pounds and I’m proud of myself. But I am stuck at 150 and the scale will not budge. I’ve been at it for months. I’ve tried everything including cutting way back on calories. 150 is not an unhealthy weight for me, but I want to be thinner and in better shape than that. How can I get past this hump?
Take all of your meals and cut them in half. Save the other half of the meal for a couple of hours and eat it then. By eating more meals and less at each one you keep your metabolism up. Also, run at least two miles a day and do not eat anything one hour before bed.

You need to do more cardio and eat smaller portions. You’ll do it, don’t give up!

As myself I weighed 253. When I started losing weight it went pretty smoothly with my exercising. When I got down to 170 I like stayed ther. No matter how much extra I did. I asked around and founf that normally that will happen. It is a stand still and then all of a sudden you will start losing the weight again. It is like your body taking a time out to adjust to the lost wieght and rescheduling itself so to say. But it will pick up and go further til there is a point that you will not lose anymore. I did end up staying at 170-175 for about 3 months the I lost another 40 pounds and didnt want to lose anymore and it was like my body would not stop losing wieght. I had never thought I would be begging to gain wieght but at 123 I started to beg and had to take extra extra supplements to actually just stay and not lose wieght. At 5’7 and 123 I was way to thin but actually was hard to put a little back on. So you will go down don’t give up it is just a stand sit that is normal. Good luck and Congrats!!
