So my congratulations to thee… beautiful and lovely Natalie!

I am glad you said water.
I saw on Oprah actually, that water does nothing to contribute wight loss. I found this hard to believe. A few years ago I drank tons & was the thinnest of my life. I have since drank not as much & find myself a few pounds heavier. So now I will kick it up again. :]
I also liked your comment on diet drinks. I am a diet drinker. I knew it was not the best thing for me but I had no clue it was so destructive to metabolism. I shall quit those a bit.

These are …
These are interesting videos…if anything, they make you more conscious of what you eat. However, what would improve the credibility of Natalie’s statements is to add in the references…it’s really not a hard thing to do. It would be nice to compare her sources to others.

There are a lot of …
There are a lot of absurd comments here (not to instigate anybody). Cold water and fats? (Forget that we’re warm blooded?) Water washing nutrients away? (How do you think those nutrients are even absorbed?). Weight loss is simple: Don’t eat like crap, and get off the couch.
Good information, Natalie. Keep up the good work.

I am not a …
I am not a qualified nutritionist, but “Drink a cup of water right before you eat” – That is probably not a good idea coz all the digestive juices will get washed away resulting in problems with digestion.
Drinking water at least 1 hour after food is believed to be good though.

Where are you getting your information?
Fibre is healthy because it isn’t digested- it regulates bowel movements, blood sugar and can help reduce cholesterol.
Vegetables have a ton of different vitamins and minerals! B vitamins (e.g. folate) in dark green vegetables, vitamin A in carrots, etc.

But I have just …
But I have just read that fibre is REALLY bad for the bowels, plus pointless to eat since it just goes right through you and contributes nothing to nutrition. Secondly, I have just read that eating vegetables is also pointless, since humans cannot get ANY nutrient out of them, they just go through us unchanged. So why are you still parrotting the oldfashioned stuff?

It is said that …
It is said that cold water allows the oils and fats that you may have taken in during your meal to become solid, stagnant and not easily digested.. However, warm water will help break those oils and fats down to be more digestible.
Take a bottle of olive oil and put it in the fridge for a couple hours to 24 hours and see what happens to it. The same effect what happens inside our bodies when we wash down fatty/oily meals with cold drinks–water or not.
